As we wind down 2024 I thought it would be fun to share my favorite purchases of the year. Here's a round up of my best purchases of the year!
Beauty
They only have a couple sales a year and I snagged a mask for $228. I have used it every single day since I got it in February. I never miss a day as I genuinely look forward to using it! Then I also bought the eye brightener to use on my lips. The technology has been used for decades, but what's new is being able to use it at home. Red light therapy penetrates the skin the deepest and helps with collagen stimulations, improving fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
A French brand, this resurfacing lip peel is concentrated in exfoliating actives (AHA and pomegranate enzymes) that eliminate dead cells and renew the lips' surface. It has 2% Mandelic acid, glycerin, and coconut oil. While we're on the topic of lips, my favorite lip balms this year are the following, I keep one in a different room of my home:
Kosas Bronzer in shade Beachy
I own quite a few bronzers but this is the one I reach for the most because it gives a soft, glowy, warm color with the prettiest subtle sheen. It gives your cheeks a radiant glow as it acts like a golden-hour filter for a naturally bronzed look with the magical effect of sunset light. Shea butter is included to soften the skin.
I bought this 3x this year, twice during Sephora's hair sale so it was 50% off. It contains Amla (Indian Gooseberry): A potent ayurvedic fruit rich in vitamin C to soothe itchy scalps. Bakuchi: An anti-aging ayurvedic herb that visibly rejuvenates sensitive scalps. Aloe: A hydrating plant to visibly strengthen and nourish dry scalps. It has a strong woody amber scent that may not be for everyone. I learned about this product from tiktok after seeing an Indian woman explain that she oils her roots with Amla oil. I use this on my roots the night before I wash my hair.
Shu Uemura Hair Oil and the Essence Absolue nourishing overnight hair serum. Both products are made with japanese red camellia oil and leave my hair hydrated, smoothed, more radiant.
NARS Powermatte High-Intensity Long-Lasting Lip Pencil
A thick, soft pencil that you can use to either line your lips or use as a matte lipstick. It gives bold, rich pigment that has to 12 hours of staying power. It stays on all day while you eat! It’s so creamy and applies very easily. I have shade All Night Long which is a rose brown.

Lululemon Quilted Velour Bag in Wine Berry
I always wanted a belt bag from lulu but could never decide on the color until I saw this and thought it was really special! I get a lot of compliments on it that I ended up buying a second one, a white fleece for winter and then the iridescent for summer since they were both on sale half off. I wear this all the time, so much easier than a purse. It has a lot of internal pockets. The bags I have are sold out but here are the regular ones and velour wine.
I've talked about how important basics are in your closet so I invested in this pricey basic white t-shirt. It's made from a premium heavyweight organic-cotton jersey and shaped for a neat fit that has slight definition. The white color is opaque and the collar remains stiff after washing!
I've never worn a baseball cap but wanted to get more serious about sun exposure in the summertime so I bought this cap to wear to the gym everyday. I bought it three times and each time I got an email that my order was cancelled because it was sold out. Finally on the fourth try I got it! I love the A in the front, A for Anna.
Coaster Luxe Recover Sweatshirt
A great midweight layering piece to wear to the gym. It's supersoft with thumbholes in the sleeves. I got it in the color Wild Plum in the Tall size.
Sleeveless Wide-Hem Poplin Maxi Dress
I bought my mom this dress in Chartreuse for her birthday and she loves it!
Spenco Women's Orthotic Sandal Flip-Flop
These are my at-home shoes. I had a previous pair for over a decade. I never wear them outside and I don't walk barefoot at home.
