Airport Travel Outfits

Here are my recommendations for chic airport outfits. When choosing what to wear when traveling I look for comfort, practicality and fashionable. Dressing nice and remaining comfortable isn't as difficult as it sounds. One rule I have about flying is to always have my body covered, I don't want my skin to touch the seat. They aren't cleaned often enough and I've heard horror stories of what people have had to sit on or force to miss their full flight. Thus, I always wear long sleeves and long pants, airplanes are freezing anyway and I need to stay warm. You want to wear comfortable clothes as you don't know how long you will be traveling for, if your plane is delayed and you just want to be comfy sitting in your seat. I never wear sandals, I always have socks just for the TSA because I'm not putting the same socks back inside my shoes after walking on the floor. You also have to think about using the lavatory on the plane, you don't want anything you're wearing to touch the unsanitary floor. Sandals invite liquids to splash on your feet. By the way did you know that you can keep your jewelry on when you go through TSA body scanner. Here are four chic airplane outfits.

Aritzia Sweater matching pants

The white set from the picture above - this knitwear comes in 7 colors and is made from 53% Viscose, 33% polyester, 12% nylon, 2% elastane. The fabric feels heavy and very warm like you're wearing wool and it has to be hand washed. I had the pants shortened after taking this picture.

Above comes in 5 colors and is described as lightweight DoubleSoft fabric and is the epitome of laid-back luxury. Top and bottom sold separately. The slim cuff pants are unfortunately sold out in most color but you can sign up to be emailed when it's back in stock. This cropped style top has dropped shoulders and deep cuffs.  Fabric is 72% Viscose, 23% Polyester 5% Elastane. I've never worn sweats outside of my home, but this loungewear set I would totally rock!

Comes in 7 colors and made of breathable, quick drying Nylon/Spandex. I love these pants and took them on safari and they were so comfy.

This viral outfit is sold as a set and comes in 17 colors! It's a knit top with coordinating tapered pants. If you look at the reviews, customers upload pictures of themselves in the various colors. Top is cotton and pants are  87% Polyester, 13% Linen and has to be hand washed. There's a dupe on amazon but one of the reviews says the fabric quality is better with the original.

I've worn these for years at home and they are super comfy and also come in petite size.
