Wynwood Walls Miami

The Wynwood walls is something I've wanted to see for a few years now. One morning, I ditched the beach and wandered around Wynwood where everything is art. Wynwood was once an unsafe warehouse district in Miami that has been transformed into an outdoor mural gallery with amazing artists from around the world that change frequently. It’s turning into one of the hippest areas, although still pretty empty during the day so not totally safe as I was informed by a local. The graffiti covered warehouse district has lots of artist studios, art galleries, museums, schools, an independent film cinema, fitness studios, an indoor machine gun range, fashion retailers, and a furniture store just to name a few. My favorite mural in all of Wynwood is by Maya Hayuk (pictured above). I love the colors and patterns!

Target Summer Collection

Target is having a Memorial Day Weekend sale with  20% off clothing, shoes &  accessories through Monday!  Use promo code MEMDAY.

I love BaubleBar's collection for Target. The cobalt Triad Ball Drop Earrings are only $13 and come in a range of colors! I have 3 pairs already and they're lightweight.  The same earrings from BaubleBar's store retail for $50!

Target has copied Jack Rogers sandals which retail for around $100. Target is selling them for only $25! The block sandals are a copy of JCrew's colorblock sandals which retail for $250! Block sandals are in style this season and are more comfortable than stilettos.

Target has some tees in cute prints from cactus to palm print to colorful pineapples. I was excited to see their pull-on crop pant in white. It seems like stores are only selling ankle pants which I'm not a fan of.

I bought the purple eyelet shift dress for $30 which is perfect for work and play. There are so many pretty and affordable dresses at Target this season.

My personal favorite dress is this off shoulder red one. Here's what the purple eyelet dress looks like:

Packing for Vacation

I've been busy getting ready for my trip, sorry for slacking on my blog. I'm very excited to visit a bucket list country for me - Cuba! I pulled out my handy packing tips  and pretty much packed all the same items. My steamer recently died so I bought the same one again because I really like it. I also packed a yellow dress, espadrilles, and some new swimsuits. Since the mosquitoes in Cuba have Zika, I'm packing insect repellent. I still have my pink suitcase which makes it easy to find. I have all my appointments lined up before I go: hair, nails, eyebrows, and spray tan.

I know everyone's heard all the horrible flying stories on the news, so here are some fun and informative travel related stories:

When I traveled with my mom as a child, she always had a "Travel Outfit" the same one she wore on every plane because it had a lot of pockets. I grew tired of it fast and begged her to wear something else. lol Well check out the Debbie Dress, it's a cotton dress with 7 hidden pockets to keep your valuables safe! You can be stylish while not worrying about your money when you travel. It comes in 4 colors and 2 lengths.

My 'uniform' lets me travel for weeks with just a carry-on — here's what I bring - I love the idea of a travel wardrobe capsule of mix and match outfits that all fit in a carry-on! Oh and she swears on white shorts since it's summertime.

What did Korea do to my face? A passport nightmare - This is a long article but it's stories from multiple Americans who needed to get their passports renewed while living in Korea and the surprise they discovered in the process. Turns out any place they went to take passport photos of themselves, did not just print it out, they edited with beauty filters they felt appropriate and the results are hilarious! Apparently this is the norm there.

Bored Hotel Guest Starts Making "Challenges" For Housekeepers, And They Respond With These Notes - You know those fun towel animals you get on cruise ships, one hotel guest turned it around for his housekeeper and the results will make you smile.

A squirrel stole a GoPro and the footage is surprisingly watchable - I was thinking of getting a GoPro and was researching it when I stumbled upon this fun video.
