With Labor Day Sales starting to trickle in, I wanted to share what's on my wish list for fall fashion. When I had my seasonal color analysis done I was told that I was a dark winter and thus bright jewel tones are considered much better for my skin. Purple is my favorite color but I've found it's a rare color to find in clothing stores, but this season I'm finally seeing clothes in bright dark purple which is my color! I only wear purple eyeliner with my brown eyes because its so complimentary. I'm super excited to see these jewel tones in stores and need to buy them.
Layering necklaces has been on trend and I want to level up my jewelry. I bought two necklaces from BaubleBar last year whose chain turned silver within less than three months. So I know I need to invest in better quality jewelry so that it will last longer. I want some quality pieces that I can wear every week and really get my cost per wear.
I don’t do the stilettos very well anymore but I love these booties with skinny heels which is a big trend. I think pointed booties are so chic and easiest thing to level up your look and these are timeless and will last for some years.
1. Banana Republic Long Linen Cut Away Linen Blazer in Midnight Purple
I love this wide angled blazer with a sharp lapel, definitely eye popping shoulder action. Structured blazers with cinched waists create a nice line and make your midsection look smaller. I prefer my blazers with one button as they are good for larger busts and look sleeker. On the back view it covers her entire butt which I like. The black buttons are a nice detail. It's half linen half cotton so hopefully it won't be too bad for wrinkles. It has lightweight shoulder pads and is machine washable. I don't like the matching wide leg pants so I won't be getting those. I think the vibrant purple color is a showstopper and I can wear it to work with all black, all white, or an all beige outfit. I also have lavender slacks I could pair it with. I can wear it on the weekend with my metallic leather pants that I bought last year that the Gap brought back.
2. Phase Eight Candice Purple Button Mini Dress
I thought this is a nice conservative dress for work.
3. JCrew New heritage Rollneck sweater in Dark Iris
All the reviews comment on what a vibrant purple it is. Fabric is 100% cotton. JCrew has really become my favorite clothing store since the start of the pandemic.
4. Juno Disc Pendant
Monica Vinader is a British company but they fedex their orders overnight and I've gotten my orders super fast. But they are also sold at Nordstrom. This is just a pendant as you have to buy the chain separately.
5. Pombaline Necklace
The design is an ode to the neoclassical architectural style in Portugal prevalent during the 18th century. The Pombaline style focused on a more geometric and uniform style of azulejo tilework. Having been to Portugal twice I immediately recognized the tile style and adore this necklace but the price is a little high for me.
If you want to talk pricey necklaces, this has been on my wishlist for a year now but I won't be pulling the trigger.
I love this bracelet but it's completely out of my price range.
6. Lydia Tomlinson Essaouira Statement Ring
My size has been out of stock forever. I have a couple other pieces from her collection and wear them regularly. This ring has a curve detail that adds a unique modern twist.
7. J. Crew Stevie ankle boots
I love the Cafe Latte color and the heel height is 2 inches. No reviews yet and not in stock at any local stores. Use code SHOPNOW for 40% off.
