The rest of the year I am constantly building and editing my cart so it's ready to go when the sale is announced. On Nov. 7, VIB members get 15% off with the code HOLIDAYSAVE. I'll be stocking up on this item that I bought on a whim last year as I've heard a lot of about it on social media and figured if a major store was selling it, it must be legit. I took it with me on a trip to Miami and put it on my feet before nights in heels and let me tell you I could walk blocks all night long without one complaint. I usually am tired of my heels after 5 minutes. It's also good for minor back aches. This stuff is pricey for small bottle so I'll take any discount I can get.

FARMACY Very Cherry Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm
My favorite cleansing balm now comes in a cherry scent. It wasn't until I bought white towels that I realized that regular cleansers don't take off all your makeup. There's still some left on your face that you don't see in the mirror but you will see on your white towel when you dry your face.  This is a cleansing balm so it's a solid paste. It's made with various oils and it literally melts away makeup from my face with little effort from me. My skin feels soft and hydrated after using this. The main ingredient is coconut oil but its listed on the label as caprylic/capric triglyceride.

A great way to test out a bunch of products is to get a Sephora Favorites curated boxes which come with a bunch of sample sized products. Here are a couple good ones.

Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser
I really like this gentle, fragrance-free cleansing gel so it performs like a cleansing oil, removing all  makeup including eye makeup. It has hydrating and softening ingredients such as glycerin.



Tarte
Maracuja Creaseless Undereye Concealer
I feel I'm always buying new undereye concealer because I decide my current tube is no longer my skin color. I don't know if it's because I'm tan in the summer and pale in the winter? Tarte has so many colors to choose from and each color comes in numerous variations for different undertones - (yellow toned, pink toned, neutral, or peach toned). I was always buying yellow toned concealer because I thought tanned skin naturally had a yellow undertone, but come to find out I have pink under tones and that's why I never had a good color match before!  I used to love Tarte's ShapeTape but it was always creasing on me. Tarte came out with this new concealer that has Maracuja oil in it and it applies like butter, smooth perfection.  My color is 36B Medium-Tan Beige and when you finally find the perfect color for your skin, this product just looks incredible on me. The finish is a bit dewy so you may prefer to add some setting powder on top.

Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
The queen of eyebrows opened up a brow bar in the new Nordstrom Flagship store in NYC. I love her brow products and have always wanted to get my brows shaped in her salon and was so excited to see they have a booth in Nordstrom when I went to NYC last weekend. Ten years ago I used to wear a lot of eye shadow and actually finish container and was addicted to watching youtube videos on how to apply it. But since I started wearing fake lashes, I don't care so much about eyeshadow and stick with the same colors. See the 3rd column, those two oranges - Orange Soda and Burnt Orange,  are my go to colors for the upper part of my eye. Then the crease is a mix of  browns. And I'll use a highlighter for under my eyebrow.
