Surprise Sephora Sale!

I thought I had to wait until November for their next sale but Sephora surprised us by having a sale now! I already had my wishlist ready and since the sale is upon us now I'm ecstatic to get everything so soon! Here are some new products I want to try and some classics.

If you spend $350 a year at Sephora you become a VIB member, which gets you one free makeover a year. From August 30 - September 3 the VIP sale will be 15% off with code YESVIB. For everyone else it's 10% off with code YESINSIDER.

I always use the sale as a great time to stock up on expense skincare products. Be sure to check out the sale section of Sephora for an even bigger discount. The sale section is already 50% off so then you add an additional 15% off and you're getting a great deal!

Don't forget to use Ebates to get 3% cash back on purchases. Sign up for a free account today and you'll start getting money back on all your online purchases. I get a check every quarter in the mail.

You may have heard that Urban Decay has retired it's original Naked Palette. It was discounted half price on Sephora and already sold out. Urban Decay even had a funeral for it! I have the Naked 2 Palette and reviewed its dupe here.

Face Oil (top row)

Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil $68
I use this every day, twice a day and think it is worth the cost. It keeps my skin glowing and hydrated.

Cleansers (top row)

Tatcha The Deep Cleanse $38
Tatcha is a Japanese beauty brand and this gel cleanser has ground fibers from the Japanese luffa fruit that help to gently exfoliate. It also has Japanese wild rose, green tea, rice and algae. This is one of my favorite cleansers as it leaves my skin clean and soft. This product has Sephora's Clean Seal that means it's made without harmful chemicals.

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm with Echinacea Green Envy $34
This is a cleansing balm so it's a solid paste. It's made with various oils and it literally melts away makeup from my face with little effort from me. My skin feels soft and hydrated after using this so the price is worth it for me. The main ingredient is coconut oil but its listed on the label as caprylic/capric triglyceride.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser $38
This gel cleanser stays in my travel bag as it's a fantastic makeup remover. It's made with soy proteins, rosewater, cucumber extract, and  Borage Seed Oil. It's a gentle cleanser that leaves my skin clean and fresh.

(middle row)
Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Crème $38
This new product has been all the rage and I've been dying to try it. It's a brightening, vitamin C-rich eye creme made with collagen, jojoba seed oil, shea butter and banana powder. If you didn't know, banana powder is a yellow powder used under the eyes to brighten the area. This is the first time it's been added to an eye creme, that's why it's so innovative.

Glamglow GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer $49
Described as a moisturizer as it has jojoba seed oil and shea butter as ingredients but I think it's more a primer/illuminator. I have the color Nude Glow which has iridescent illuminating pearl particles that blur, reflect, and enhance your complexion for a luminous finish. It's the first product I put on my skin before makeup because it gives my skin a nice glow.

Hair Products (middle row)
Verb Ghost Oil $16
I love this light hair oil! It gives heat protection for wet hair and shine on dry hair. It has a mix of Moringa Seed Oil, argan oil and bamboo extract.

Alterna Caviar Repair RX Re-Texturizing Protein Cream $37
This leave in conditioner is amazing on my hair! It's made from marine botanicals,  enzymes and minerals, and sunflower seed oil. My hair is so soft after I use it.

Masks (bottom row)
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask $20
I haven't tried this but have heard so many people raving about it. It's a leave-on overnight lip mask that soothes and moisturizes for smoother, more supple lips.

Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask $68
This violet mask is in my current mask rotation because it makes my skin glow. The Japanese mask is made with Kaolin clay, two types of vitamin C, and AHAs from seven fruits. When dried on your face it doesn't make your skin feel dry or pulled like other masks.

Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask $58
Another mask in my rotation is this mineral rich mask made from Hungarian thermal water that has a slight warming affect on your skin. Made with  kaolin clay, magnesium sulfate and natural oils to  moisturize your skin and help with dullness.
