Eating Clean

I'm sure you've heard lots of buzz about Eating Clean but still not sure what it is? The concept has been around for awhile however I think it got new steam when Tosca Reno starting writing her popular books about the topic. My favorite is the one titled The Eat-Clean Diet Recharged: Lasting Fat Loss That's Better than Ever!  Losing weight is 80% diet, so if you clean up your diet of the junk and by eating healthy foods, you are setting the ground work for changing your whole lifestyle and relationship with food. So it's not a quick fix diet or a fad diet like Atkins, but rather it's the blueprint to the rest of your life. I've had amazing results ever since I starting eating this way!

The key ingredients to Eating Clean are:
  • Eat five or six times a day, consisting of 3 meals and 2 or 3 snacks. Eating every 2-3 hours in conjunction with lifting weights which is what keeps your metabolism up
  • Avoid processed foods and refined foods like white flour, sugar, bread and pasta. Exchange it for healthy grains like whole wheat pasta, brown rice, quinoa, and oats
  • Eat foods whose labels have few ingredients and those that you can pronounce
  • Eat correct portion sizes
  • Drinking 8 glasses of water a day
  • Eat lots of plants and fruits
  • Consume healthy fats such as avocados, nuts, chia seeds, and flaxseed oil
  • Cut out artificial sugar like splenda replacing it with stevia, honey, and maple syrup to sweeten your foods
If you think you can't do this on your own and would like motivation and support, I'm leading a 30 Day Clean Eating and Shakeology Support Group starting May 6.  Message me for details!  I absolutely love love love helping others and would like to do the same for you!!!

I will personally mentor you for 30 days through a closed online support group.  I will provide you with daily tips, motivation, accountability, meal plans and recipes.  You will set goals for yourself based on your own health and fitness. I will give you the principles of clean eating  and teach you how to apply them to your every day life. We will discuss topics such as meal planning, snacks, portion sizes, metabolism, emotional eating, dealing with stress, water intake and more.  My goal is to make this a lifestyle change and not another fad diet!  I want you to truly adopt a new way of living.  To know that the food is good, that you don’t have to crash diet and that you can live a healthy and fulfilling life! What do have to lose besides fat?
