10 Advent Calendars

It's been said that November is the busiest shopping month of the year. I can't wait for after Thanksgiving beauty sales! Now is the time to pick up your Advent Calendar so you can have it all ready to start with on Dec 1st. Trader Joe's chocolate advent calendar is one of my favorites and retails for only $1! I already picked up mine (and a few for friends) as they do sell out early.

I'm a big tea drinker so I picked up David's Tea Advent calendar, it's a set of 24 loose teas. I can't wait to open it next month! It also includes a hot chocolate and apple cider. Be sure to check out their candy shop, they have some delicious stuff there.

A trend I've noticed lately is Beauty Advent Calendars. How much fun is it to open cute little doors to reveal beauty products inside! It's  a gift a day from Dec 1 to Christmas eve. These cute boxes are great gifts for beauty junkies (like myself)!  Advent Calendars are much more popular in Britain and Australia than the USA. So Kiehl's and Yankee Candle advent calendars are only sold abroad. Here are some others you can buy. Sephora's Advent Calendar sold out weeks ago, but maybe they will restock? It's off their website but I saved the picture.

The Body Shop has 3 versions all over $100 filled with shower gel, lip butters, hand lotion, lip color, and masks.

Have you seen the movie Mother's Day that came out this spring with Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson,  and Loni Love? Julia Roberts plays a QVC VIP while playing homage to her Pretty Woman character wearing the short red wig and has her co-star  Hector Elizondo in this movie as well. The next box on my list is QVC Beauty Advent Calendar in the shape of a Christmas box for $64. Each of the 24 doors has so many brands including First Air Beauty, Josie Maran, Algenist, Peter Thomas Roth, Paula's Choice, philosophy, IT Cosmetics,  bareMinerals lip color, blender sponge, eyelash curler and more!  Four items in the box equal the whole value of the box. It has 6 full size products.

Lush's 12 Days of Christmas offers you 12 products in a reusable hat box for $100. You'll get shower gel, shower smoothie, body lotions, and bath bombs

10 Days of Clinique is a good value for $40 as a collection of their makeup and skin care products.

Clarins offers you 20 of their best selling products including makeup and skin care (3 are full size), gift tags and bag accessories. $125

L'Occitane offers you 24 products behind numbered doors for $55. You'll get hand creams, shower gel, body lotion, and my favorite Almond Shower Oil.

Ulta's 12 Days of Beauty is only $18 and full of Ulta brand makeup.

Ok so I know I said 10, but today this just went live. Target beauty box has 12 days of beauty items for $25.

  1. I used to LOVE advent calendars! That brings back such good memories. I love the "adult" versions of these. I think I'd take the Clinique one!
