Stylish and Trendy Sneakers that are not Adidas Sambas

Now that it's September, it’s officially fall. Fall is my absolute favorite season for fashion because it has the best clothes, the coziest layers, and everything suede! If you wanna be that girl, these are the shoes that you need to have in your closet, we're talking cool girl sneakers. There are cooler sneakers than samba. Sambas have a super low profile and don't have a lot of shape to them. They have been the trendy sneaker for a couple years now but I think we are going to say goodbye to sambas. Bella Hadid Adidas Sneaker Ad Controversy, she is now suing the brand. So let me share some new favorite minimalistic and retro sneakers that you're going to be wearing all fall.

What's trending for Fall 2024: We're going to see a lot of brown suede sneakers, flatter sleeker sneakers and very colorful and vibrant sneakers. The colors trending for this fall are pistachio green, burgundy (merlot and oxblood), and chocolate brown so you may want to get a pair of sneakers in one of those colors. If you want to elevate your outfits or make them look more on trend, this is the kind of jean you're going to want to go for. The denim trends for fall 2024: Cuffed Jeans, Wide Leg Jeans, Patch Pocket Jeans and Cropped Jeans. If you want to update your denim wardrobe for the fall pick one of those silhouettes and invest in a pair of dark indigo denim. It's my favorite because it's very flattering because its darker. And lends itself to being dressed up and nicer outfits.

My goal is to dress comfortably but still look put together. I just gave you what's on trend for denim and now will show you what sneakers to pair with it. The trend seems to be headed to a more leaner more minimal, slim paired silhouette. As a whole, 70s inspired shoes and bright color ways is what is going to be trending.

With all these sneakers, my motto is if you like it, then it's cool. Comfortable shoes only. Life is too short for pinched toes, blisters, or constantly scanning the room for a place to sit down.

Alohas - I got these in silver which is a very versatile shade. I think the raspberry shade is pretty too! As the name would suggest, the company was founded in Hawaii in 2015.

Dolce Vita - also makes a silver leather shoe but in a distressed cracked look.

Dolce Vita - they mix crackled silver with suede, do I need to buy this? I worry the white will get dirty.

Adidas SL72 OG contender for sneaker of the year since it was gifted to so many influencers in this maroon color so now it's been sold out for awhile but I love this brown color.

Matisse Quincy - Love the Natural colorway.

Saye Modelo '89 or the Saye DM70 This Spanish brand makes retro shoes made from soft vegan suede and corn napa or cactus napa (vegan leather made from corn or cactus). The insides are made from bamboo and soles from leftover waste from a mattress factory. You can also purchase from Anthropologie.

Gola - I got the Elan model in yellow! I don't see it on their website so I linked to all the colors. I love the gold colorway! Gold is a British brand that's been around since 1905.

Karhu is a Finnish brand and Karhu is Finnish word for “bear”. Karhu develops the first patented Air Cushion midsole in its running footwear. Their shoes have been worn at the Olympics on the track. I got these in purple since my winter coat is lavender.

SeaVees - they have a couple sporty sneakers with a retro look. This is a California brand.

If you have any trips to Madrid or London coming up you must stop in the Flabelus store. They sell a modern espadrille, as they transformed the classic design of the Spanish espadrille. It's a Spanish brand that makes these colorful shoes out of cotton velvet and their soles are made out of recycled car tires.
