e.l.f. Cosmetics Haul

An Affordable Makeup Haul of elf Cosmetics.

Elf has high quality makeup and skincare products at fraction of the price! Don't sleep on their products at the drugstore, you need to run out and try this brand. Elf is a clean beauty brand that is vegan and cruelty free, founded in California in 2004. I really enjoyed everything that I tried from Elf. They have such high quality products and at affordable prices. Here's all the products I tried, but looking at the website now I see so many other products that look like dupes for expensive brands.

Halo Glow Liquid Filter

They recently came out with their new Liquid Filter which is supposed to be a dupe for the cult favorite Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter which retails for $44 for 1 oz; while Elf retails for $14 for 1 oz. If it's sold out, it's also available at Target.  It's only been out a month and has already sold out twice! That's because it's a more attainable price point $14 vs $44 for makeup artist staple. It's a sheer priming product and complication booster that can be used 4 ways: wear alone, over or under makeup, mix with foundation or use as highlighter. The ingredients include Squalane and Hyaluronic Acid and the product sits nicely on your skin. I would call it a luminous skin tint and it's available in 8 skin tone shades. It has the same look and feel of Charlotte Tilbury but with a giant applicator.  I was so excited to try it out so I purchased it the day they dropped on Elf's website. It's a viral dupe that everyone on social media has been talking about it!  The packaging is very nice as it comes in a glass bottle. I wear shade 4 medium which was a perfect match for my skin tone. My complexation looks so radiant and so glowy when I wear it!

Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow

If you want an easy one and done eyeshadow, I highly recommend Elf's liquid metallic Eyeshadow. It also comes in a glitter version as well. I got the Moon shade which is a champagne color with pearl shimmer. It looks amazing on my skin tone and makes my eyes pop! It's quick drying and once dry doesn't transfer.  I love how it looks! It's a dupe for stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow

Putty Bronzer

A cream bronzer made with argan oil and vitamin E. It blends and blurs into skin, delivering a natural bronzing effect with a smooth, semi-matte finish. The formula is lightweight, non-greasy, and highly pigmented.  Highly pigmented, buildable color allowing you to build an all-over warm complexion or just a contour. Comes in 8 shades.

Brow Lift

A clear eyebrow shaping wax that holds your brows in place for that on-trend fluffy, feathered soap brow look. It's a dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Styling Wax

Eye Cream

An inexpensive eye cream formula that is infused with hyaluronic acid and peptides for hydration.

Face Cream with SPF

I bought this for my mom. It's a lightweight face cream that nourishes and plumps skin while delivering lasting hydration and SPF 30 protection. Ingredients include: Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Peptides.

Under Eye Masks
Infused with purified water, seaweed extract, and licorice these under eye masks help awaken the under eye area prior to makeup application. This pack includes 3 sets of under eye masks. Here's a tip for ya, keep your eye masks in the fridge so they're cold. Then put a set on when you blowdry your hair to cool your face.

Hydrating Primer Serum

A fragrance-free primer that helps to plump and prime your skin for makeup application. It's infused  with snow mushroom and Hyaluronic Acid to help skin retain moisture. I found this pump difficult to use as hardly any product came out.

Dupes for high end products

Here's a list of products I didn't purchase but I recognized immediately as dupes for products I already have.

Poreless Putty Primer

A skin primer that grips makeup. The ingredients include Squalane for hydration. Described as a smooth, velvety texture that glides over skin seamlessly. This is a dupe for Tatcha which I got in my Sephora Birthday gift.

Makeup Melting Balm

A solid balm cleanser that melts into an oil texture that instantly melts away makeup. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, ceramides and peptides leaving skin feeling plumped with hydration. The last ingredient is a fragrance if that's a concern for you. I love a makeup balm! I use one first to remove makeup, then do a double cleanse with my regular cleanser. The three makeup balms I've used and loved are the Farmacy Green Clean, Glow Recipe Papaya, and Elemis.

Matte Oil Control Primer

This clay-infused primer helps control oil for a lasting mattified complexion. The lightweight formula helps blur the appearance of pores, while combating excess oils with Kaolin Clay and Tea Tree. It's a dupe for Smashbox Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Oil-Free Foundation Primer which is a holy grail product for me!

Black Cherry Sheer Lipstick

I know everyone loves Clinque's Black Honey but it's sheer on me, yet somehow I have two sticks of it. They must have come free in kits.

Bronzer

Dupe for Nars Laguna Bronzer which I love.

Eyeliner Pen

A dupe for Stila's liquid eye liner.

High Definition Powder

A dupe for Makeup Forever HD Powder

Eyeliner and Brow Cream

A dupe for MAC Fluidline

Makeup Mist

designed to hold your face and eye makeup in place all day and to revitalize makeup color with just a few sprays. The formula contains aloe, green tea, cucumber, and vitamins A, C, and E to soothe and hydrate the skin. A dupe for MAC's Fix+ which I have.
