Trader Joe's Fall Favorites 2020

I've been a huge Trader Joe's fan for years! They have some of the most unique and fast prep foods out there. A couple years ago I had a couple posts (linked below) reviewing fall items at Trader Joe's so I thought I would bring that feature back by reviewing some new items.  I want to share some of my favorite fall items with you!

Brazilian Style Cheese Bread

We have a Brazilian family that celebrates Thanksgiving and Easter with us every year and they always bring homemade Brazilian Cheese Bread, so I was so excited to see this at Trader Joe's. I will say it's not as good as homemade, but it's close enough and still delicious. It's made with tapioca flour and parmesan cheese, crispy on the outside  and chewy on the inside, with pockets of cheese inside.

Corn & Green Chile Pepper Quiche

Not to be confused with the Savory Corn Pie which is similar but I wasn't too impressed by. This quiche isn't spicy but has enough flavor to be tasty.

Herbed Tahini Sauce

Instead of using thick tahini from a jar, they have watered it down a bit so it spreads better and added parsley and garlic. It's delicious on anything you spread it on. You'll find this next to all the dips in the refrigerator aisle.

Cacio e pepe

This is my favorite pasta dish ever!!!! I've tried making it at home but can't seem to get it right. I was skeptical to try it from TJ's not sure they would get it right, but it's delicious! It also comes in a ravioli flavor as well.

Matcha ice cream

I love matcha ice cream and could only have it at Thai restaurants but can't remember the last time I've been to one. TJ's matcha ice cream is rich, creamy, and  with real matcha flavor! It's cheaper than Haagen-Dazs matcha ice cream and slightly less calories. There is also now pumpkin ice cream, but I haven't tried it since it was higher in calories.

Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese

Literally my favorite thing to buy every year! I always look forward to this.

Fiochetti with pink sauce
It's pasta pillows  filled with ricotta, taleggio, and mozzarella cheese. The directions say to add water to it, but I recommend not doing that.

Pumpkin & Butternut Squash Ravioli
Why order this at an expensive restaurant when you can get it from Trader Joe's? I always add a side of broccoli to it.

Pumpkin Samoas

Made from a mix spices including garam masala, cumin, coriander, chile powder, and fennel seeds mixed with paneer cheese and  pumpkin make this Indian-inspired appetizer delicious! I need to stock up!

Pumpkin Empanadas

The pumpkin filling is slightly sweet mixed with some coconut milk. Overall I found the flavor profile a bit bland.

Pumpkin Blondie Brownie

Individually cut, moist blondies made with white chocolate chips, pecans, and pumpkins.

Pumpkin Spice Baton - delicate rolled wafers  filled with a soft, sweet, pumpkin-flavored cream spiced with a blend of classic pumpkin-pie spices,
