Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks 2020

One of the biggest sales of the year, the N-SALE was pushed back a month this year due to the pandemic but the sale is for fall clothes. That's right, the sale is for brand new pieces for fall. I know this year the sale hits different since so many people are out of work or not shopping to save money. I'm lucky enough to still have a job that I can work from home with no pay cut. I also understand those that see no point in buying clothes when they have nowhere to go.

While I do love this sale, my shopping will be limited. The items on my list are closet staples that I wanted before I saw the sale because I consider myself a closet curator with a wish list of gaps I need to fill. Buy what you really need and truly love and only what you can afford.

The sale is opened in tiers for credit card holders who spend the most money at Nordstrom. So I get to access the sale at the very end on August 19. They have a preview up of what is available during the sale and I combed through all the pages to add the items to my wishlist. Even though some things are already sold out, during the sale they come back in stock quickly. Nordstrom always has free shipping and free returns.

For intimates I have been wanting to try the True & Co wireless bra. Target also sells it but the fabric is different, hence the difference in price. This is the top selling item of the sale, it comes in 5 colors, so wait for it to restock.

If you get anything from the sale I would highly recommend snagging these sneakers that I wear for athleisure and workout in. Nordstrom's brings them back every year to the sale because they are such a big seller. So they will sell out! I bought these sneakers in pink at the last sale. They run large so go down a half size.

This is the only time that UGG slippers will go on sale, not at the after Christmas sale. The grip on the bottom is great on hardwood floors. They come in a bunch of colors. They are really comfortable and really warm. So definitely a good purchase during the sale.
