Healthy Snack Bars

I wanted to share some of my favorite, clean, snack bars. I don't eat bars everyday, but it's nice to keep them around in case I need a quick snack and they're great for traveling with. All are available at Whole Foods or you can order directly from their website.

Snap Kitchen - Thunderbird - Pecan Goji Pistachio (also on Amazon)
Made with pecan butter, golden berries, goji berries, mulberries, and pistachio. This chewy bar is delicious!
250 cal, 4g protein, 15g sugar

Made from eggs, coconut and lime oils, while sweetened with  monk fruit. They are smaller than your average bar but high in protein. The feel is a bit greasy though from the oils.
210 cal, 8g protein, 2g sugar

Elemental Raw bars (also on Amazon)
These raw bars are made without wheat, dairy and sugar and have superfoods like mulberries, lucuma, hemp seeds and Spirulina. They are sweetened with honey and are high in protein and fiber and loaded with omega-3s and omega-6s. The bars should be kept refrigerated or enjoyed within 1 week on the go since they don't use preservatives. They also sell a crumble, which is a large bag of the bars crumbled that you can sprinkled on top of your yogurt, smoothie or oatmeal.
200 cal, 6g protein, 6g sugar

Made from clean plant based ingredients pressed together without heat. The vegan bars are very chewy and delicious! They also come in a mini size 100 calorie bars.  My favorite flavors are the Cherries & Berries, Balanced Goodness, and Everlasting Joy. They come in both snack bars and high protein bars.

Have you heard of Ibotta? It's an app that gives you cash back on things you buy at the grocery store. All you do is check the app each week to see which brands have offers and purchase those products at the grocery store. GTS Kombucha which I drink every week is usually an offer. I also find new snack brands that I wouldn't have thought to try as well. There's always some kind of yogurt, ice cream or wine. Plus there are bonus opportunities where you make money quicker. After your purchase, you take a picture of your receipt, scan the barcodes and upload to the app. I've used the app for 2 months and have already earned $50! The money is transferred to your paypal account or added to amazon as a gift card.
