2022 Summer Bucket List

I'm excited that summer is finally here! To start this new season I created a list of fun things I want to do in the next 3 months.

We had a chilly, rainy spring so I haven't been able to hang out on rooftops.  I'm looking forward to doing that in the evenings, enjoying the breezes with a sugary frozen cocktail, because it is the season for that! I used to go to comedy shows all the time but haven't been in a few years so this summer I got tickets for Chelsea Handler (because I loved her books) and DL Hughley (after seeing his IG drama with Mo'Nique over who is the headliner of the tour).

I rarely go to concerts, they're just too expensive. I follow Jess King, a peloton instructor, on IG and she goes to EDM concerts every month and even travels for them and they look so much fun so she's inspired me to go to one.  I haven't been to an EDM concert since my trip Ibiza where I saw David Guetta. I saw that Rüfüs Du Sol, an Australian trio, is performing at a smaller venue so I thought that would be perfect for me. My favorite song of theirs is "Underwater" so check it out on spotify. I take so many house music themed rides on the peloton so I've really gotten into the genre. I watched a few tiktoks from Rüfüs Du Sol concerts and I think I'll have a great time!

The Kusama exhibit  has returned to town with some new rooms so I'm excited to see that again! There's two other museums in DC I've never been to: the Glenstone Museum and the Air & Space Museum extension at the Udvar-Hazy Center. I also want to get some more hikes in and spend some time at my pool. I know I want to go to outdoor happy hours with friends, see the Top Gun Movie and start making smoothies again.

Below I linked my previous summer bucket lists so I hope this encourages you to create one for your self.
