Spring Trend: Blush & Espadrilles

I'm building my wardrobe for my tropical vacation in a couple months and my  favorite pair of espadrilles finally gave way, so I’ve been looking for a new pair to replace it. I’ve noticed that espadrilles are making a style comeback. Traditionally they've been made in Spain since the 1800s by hand out of jute fiber. Originally they were flat but can also be high heeled made from a woven rope sole.

I’ve always loved the stylish look of them, something you would picture yourself wearing with a sunhat and off the shoulder dress walking the cobblestone streets in Europe in the summertime. But they are not just for summer holidays. Espadrilles are classic but I love this fresh new updated look to them with criss-cross ankles laces.  Kind of reminds you of ballet shoes. If you're not a heels person, wedges are great because they give you a little more stability by distributing all of your weight evenly over your feet. These chic shoes will dress up any casual day outfit.

You can never go wrong with espadrilles The look is always timeless as they create a casual effortlessly chic look. In this beautiful hue of pink - blush is on trend this spring. I think these shoes look very feminine and are an essential summer item. Do you own a pair of espadrilles?
