Now that the Olympics are over, I think we've all been motivated by the best athletes to train harder. I'm always all about dressing for my body type and size, which means I'm not wearing form fitting tanks from lululemon anymore. Instead, I've discovered Dicks Sporting Goods which has a variety of fashionable and affordable workout clothes. It's free shipping if you order $25 worth of merchandise. They are opening their first store in DC next month by the Costco. Here's some cute clothing I found on their website.
I just finished up a month of Barre3 classes and they were tough! For September, I'm going back to spin classes to avoid plateaus by mixing things up. Last weekend was National Park Service Birthday so entrance fees to National Parks were free and I went on a 2 hour bike ride which was nice. I've been freezing watermelon in my ice cube tray to use in smoothies to thicken and sweeten them up! I'm revamping my fitness goals and making lifestyle changes. I've recommitted to consistent meal planning which makes me feel prepared for success as I know what I'm going to eat for dinner every night. I'm back on myfitnesspal counting calories which has always given me success. I still get my treats in as everything fits into the daily numbers. Yes, I still go out with my friends Friday or Saturday night. But, I'm staying focused on reaching my goal of losing 30 lbs by the end of the year. Who else is trying to shrink down this fall?
